What can you expect from your first visit?
During the first visit, Dr. Lee will take an in-depth assessment of your health history and current concerns. This typically takes between 1 to 1.5 hours. After careful examination, we will discuss recommendations, including any necessary lab work and follow-ups, and you will be provided with a detailed treatment plan.

How to make an appointment as a New Patient

1. Download and complete New Patient Intake form. Be sure to get the correct form according to age group.
   
2. Mail or drop off completed form to the doctor's office along with full payment of the first visit (VISA, MC, Check ,Cash). Checks should be made out to Dr. Judy Lee. Credit card information can be written at the bottom of the new patient intake form in the space provided or processed at the office before the first visit. Cancellations are accepted 24 hours before scheduled date of appointment. Missed appointments will be charged in full.
   
3. Upon receipt of the New Patient Intake form and payment, you will receive a call from the office to schedule your first visit with Dr. Lee.
   
4. Bring copies of all relevant lab reports from the past 3 years if available.
   

Emergencies and Hospital Coverage
Judy Lee, ND is a specialist in preventative medicine and complementary therapies. She does not have hospital admitting privileges as her primary focus is on keeping patients out of the hospital. It is strongly recommended that her patients have a working relationship with a physician who has hospital privileges and on-call coverage.

Phone Messages and Consultations
Dr. Lee accepts voicemail messages from established patients who have urgent questions. Questions and concerns of a non-urgent nature are encouraged to be addressed at the next follow up appointment. Calls will be returned generally on the same day within the business hours Monday thru Saturday, unless Dr. Lee is on an urgent call or out of town. You must always call 911 or visit the emergency room if you have a medical emergency.

Phone consultations of less than 3 minutes are free of charge, otherwise charged according to fee schedule

Fees and Payment Policy
Payment is due at the time of service, except for new patient visits. Patients are provided a receipt of the visit and have the option of submitting it to their insurance company. We do not bill insurance companies. Most insurance companies do not recognize naturopathic medical expenses in California, yet.
Missed appointments are charged in full. Cancellations made less than 24 hours will be charged $50.

Fragrances
We try to maintain a fragrance and chemical-free environment. As many of our patients suffer from various chemical and environmental sensitivities, these sensitive people are in danger of becoming very ill when exposed to fragrances worn by others. Please help us to keep our patients safe from reactions by not wearing perfumes, scented deodorant, powders, lotions, or any other scented products.
